
Clio Natsis was born in Thessaloniki. Her father was Dr. Dimitriadis Alexandros and her mother Maria, maiden name Bakirtzi. She married the civil engineer G. Natsis. She studied painting in the school of Fine Arts, at the atelier of G. Moralis (1948-1949) and in Thessaloniki, at Pol. Regos’ atelier. She is a member of the Artistic Chamber of Athens, founding member of the Association of Artists of Northern Greece and member of the Association of Artistic Exchanges. She participated in the artistic initiatives of the Ministry of Culture in Romania (1969), in the Bienale of Alexandria in 1972 and in Moscow in 1988. She has also participated in nine PanHellenic Exhibitions and in two UNESCO Exhibitions, in Paris and London in 1978.
In 1982, she participated in the ‘’ Salon de Comparaisons Grand Palais’’ in Paris and in the same year she represented Greece in the Greek Month of Vienna after being selected by the Austrian committee. She participated in more than 100 joint exhibitions. She is a two times prize winner by the Municipality of Thessaloniki and she was also awarded a prize by the Commercial Bank of Greece.
In 1969, she won the prize money in the ‘’Salon de l’ Art Libre’’ and in 1973 the Silver Medal. In the same year, she was awarded the silver medal in Madrid.
In 1984 she participated in an exhibition organized by the Institute of I. Vellidis.
In 1987-88 a retrospective exhibition was presented in the Vaphopoulio Cultural Center.
In 1989 she participated in the initiative of the Municipality of Paris to celebrate the 200 years since the Conquest of Bastille, where she was awarded with the Silver Medal of the city of Paris and her work was chosen as the exhibition poster. She has been a member of the Administrative Board of the State Theater of Northern Greece for five years. She is a fellow of the Association of Macedonian Studies. Her work can be found in the Municipal Gallery of Thessaloniki, Athens and Rhodes, the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and in various private collections in Greece and abroad.
